Surrounding parcels & the new Site Sketch editor

This release adds context around the parcel you’re studying — neighboring lots and jurisdiction details — and reworks site planning into a dedicated, save-able Site Sketch editor.

Highlights

  • Surrounding parcels — neighboring lots now render around the parcel you’re viewing, so you can read a property in the context of its block instead of in isolation.
  • Site Sketch — the old Site Plan tab is now a full-page Site Sketch editor you can save directly to a property and come back to later.
  • Jurisdiction Info — a new panel tells you which jurisdiction governs a parcel and draws its county boundary on the map.

Surrounding parcels

SiteFacts now loads the parcels around the one you’re looking at and draws them on the map. Hover a neighbor to highlight it, or click to make it the active parcel — handy for walking a block, checking adjacency, or comparing nearby lots without searching each address.

Parcel boundaries are sourced from an expanded data set with an automatic fallback, so boundaries resolve more often and missing-boundary cases are flagged clearly instead of failing silently.

The new Site Sketch editor

The Site Plan tab has been renamed and rebuilt as Site Sketch, a focused full-page editor. You can now:

  • Save a sketch to a property and reopen it later — sketches are no longer trapped in a single report view.
  • Choose landscape or portrait page orientation for the output.
  • Render in greyscale for clean, print-friendly site sketches.
  • Toggle existing structures to show neighboring buildings for context.
  • Preview, rename, and manage your saved sketches in one place.

Site Sketch is a paid feature. Locked workspaces see a preview of the tab with an upgrade prompt.

Jurisdiction info

A new Jurisdiction Info panel surfaces the governing jurisdiction for a parcel and draws the surrounding county boundary as an overlay, so you can see at a glance which authority’s rules apply.

More overlays & fixes

  • New optional flood-zone and wetlands vector overlays for screening environmental constraints.
  • Unaddressed parcels now show a readable “TBD” road-name fallback instead of a blank or cryptic label.
  • Map interaction fixes: resize/rotate handles take priority over map panning while editing, and selecting a surrounding parcel no longer disturbs your current session.
