Terms of Service

The terms that govern your use of SiteFacts. Placeholder copy pending legal review.

Placeholder notice. This is draft placeholder copy for the documentation site and is not the final agreement. It must be reviewed and finalized by qualified legal counsel before publication.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using SiteFacts (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms on its behalf. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Use of the service

SiteFacts provides parcel intelligence and site-analysis tools for informational and planning purposes.

  • Output such as SiteScore, SiteFacts reports, overlays, setbacks, slope, and AI tree detection is a screening aid intended to support early due diligence.
  • The Service does not constitute land surveying, engineering, geotechnical, environmental, or legal advice, and is not a substitute for a professional survey, jurisdiction review, or title work.
  • You are responsible for independently verifying any information before relying on it for permitting, purchase, construction, or other decisions.
  • You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt it, access it without authorization, or use it in violation of applicable law.

3. Data and third-party sources

The Service aggregates data from third-party providers, including but not limited to Regrid (parcels), FEMA (flood hazard data), and USGS (wetlands and elevation), as well as geocoding providers.

  • Accuracy, completeness, and availability of this data are subject to those upstream sources and their respective terms and licenses.
  • SiteFacts makes no warranty as to the accuracy or fitness of third-party data for any particular purpose.
  • Your use of certain data may be subject to the licensing and attribution obligations of the upstream provider.

4. Accounts and workspaces

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Workspaces are multi-tenant. Workspace owners and admins are responsible for managing membership, roles, and access within their workspace.
  • Certain features and reports may consume credits or require a paid plan, as described in the Service.
  • We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or for conduct that risks harm to the Service or other users.

5. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, SiteFacts and its providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. (Final language to be supplied by counsel.)

6. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by other reasonable means. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

7. Contact

Questions about these terms can be directed to SiteFacts through the main site.
